INQUIRY

Tell me everything you may be interested in! Calligraphy, vellum wraps, letterpress or digital printing - I want to hear what your dream invitations look like! Once your inquiry form comes through my website, I will put together a pricing proposal that includes line items of everything you mentioned being interested in so that you can make an informed decision on what you would like to include. At this point, we can have a call to go over any questions you have before putting down a deposit if you would like.

ONBOARDING

Yay, you’re officially a Printed Water client! As soon as your contract is signed and retainer is paid, I will send over a welcome packet that includes all of my invitation tips info you will need throughout the process, such as info on how to start formatting addresses (can take longer than you expect!). I will also send a proposed timeline for your approval.

DESIGN SKETCH

Now the fun begins! I’ll get to work on creating a digital sketch of your invitation suite. I add unique touches that reflect your love story and personality as a couple to the design, so spare no cute detail when filling out my inquiry form! Many times I can get enough information from your intake form and supplemental info you email over (Pinterest boards, your wedding planner’s design and floral board, misc. inspo) but I am also happy to have a design call to talk about your vision or discuss the little details like finishing options and envelope colors. This is the time to decide if you would like to add on any luxury upgrades, such as double thick paper or wax seals.

TIME TO PAINT!

Once the sketch is approved - I start painting! Once I do the painting, there is no revision to the painted portion. That's why I work hard to get all of the details down and work to really understand your vision during the sketch round. We do have wiggle room with verbiage, fonts, text color, and image size that we can tweak throughout the next few drafts.

DIGITAL PROOFS & REVISION

The moment you’ve been waiting for - everything we’ve been working on comes together! I provide a digital mockup as well as each individual piece to look at closer so that no detail is forgotten. Three rounds of revisions are included in your package, but I am usually able to get everything straightened out in two.

PRINTING & FINISHING

I work with excellent printers that provide only the highest quality print jobs. Whether you choose digital, letterpress or foil printing, you are in the best hands. You can choose to have your invitations assembled by me and delivered to you to mail out, or if you fancy yourself a DIY moment you can opt to assemble them yourself. If you opt to assemble them yourself, I will provide everything you need to put them together as well as a guide or video of myself assembling a few suites to make sure you feel good about it.
